S.S. Argentina. Commodore's Gala - Hawaiian Night Menu
$25.00
/
2 pp. 12x9, lithographed illustration of a sailboat in Hawaiian waters N.p.: Moore-McCormack Lines, Aug. 17, 1962.
Lithograph by C.A. Rosser in lush colors of an outrigger sailing by a tropical scene. The S.S. Argentina was at sea during its Hawaiian Night, featuring mahi mahi, as well as guinea hen with Hawaiian dressing, pineapple cloe slaw, and new boiled uala (as well as veal ragout a la Molokai!). Moore McCormack Line's SS ARGENTINA was the last true American built ocean liner when she was delivered on 9 December 1958. Fine - a striking lithograph.
