Hailee Catalano’s culinary journey began in her Sicilian grandmother’s kitchen in Chicago, where Sunday gravy and pasta-making lessons sparked a lifelong passion for cooking. Hailee went on to graduate from the Culinary Institute of America, and worked in acclaimed kitchens around the country for nearly a decade, from Chicago (Dos Urban Cantina, Cellar Door Provisions) to New Jersey (Talde). During the pandemic, Hailee stepped back from the restaurant industry, and turned to TikTok as an outlet for her cooking. She quickly became a social media sensation, alongside her partner Chuck Cruz, with whom she runs her latest channel, 2peoplecooking, boosting her following to over 2.5 million. With the launch of By Heart, Hailee showcases her culinary spirit and expertise, proving that restaurant worthy, seasonally-driven and cozy meals can be made in every home kitchen.
By Heart - Growing up cooking the Sunday gravy, meatballs, and pasta alongside her Italian American grandmother, Hailee Catalano developed a huge passion for food. This passion led her to the Culinary Institute of America, and then to cooking in restaurants.
