Image by Riccobaldi depicts a scene from Sleeping Beauty. Giuseppe Riccobaldi del Bava (1887-1976) became famous for his Italian travel and propaganda posters in the 1930's and 40's, but worked as an artist throughout his life. In the early 1950's, he was commissioned by Italia Lines to create a series of scenes from famous fairy tales for their shipboard menus.

This is a dinner menu from aboard to Mn Vulcania, with selections listed in Italian and English, featuring minestrone alla Piemontese, fettucine con piseli fresca alla Trevigiana, etc. Some mild foxing to lower margins on front cover (not affecting image), else very good.
