Menus, slightly smaller than 4.75x3.25", each a single sheet with doily edges and different lithographed image in upper left corner. France: May 25, 1909.
A fantastic collection of miniature handwritten menus (one is blank), each from the same date in 1909. These were likely for a party of 6 or 7 guests at a restaurant or hotel, and they were offered civet (hare), tapioca soup, veal head, turkey, and several desserts. Discoloration from spills and splatters, proving that the guests had a rollicking time over their multi-course dinners!
