(*NEW ARRIVAL*) (Southern - Tennessee) Satsuma Tea Room. Fun for the Cook: 110 Prized Recipes Collected over 50 Years
$40.00
/
Foreword by Arlene Ziegler. 32 pp. Dec. yellow wrappers printed in red. First Edition. Nashville: Satsuma Tea Room, [1953].
The Satsuma Tea Room began as a dinner spot in 1918, started by two Home Ec teachers. While it ceased serving dinners just after WWII, many of their meals were still available to purchase in stores around Tennessee. Herein are recipes for Special Hot Chocolate, lemon chiffon pudding, caramel dumplings, baked grits with cheese, crab souffle, and many other favorites of the Satsuma.
Minor sunning to extremities, else very good and bright.
