*NEW ARRIVAL* Two French menus

Two menus, 6.25x4.75", handwritten and illustrated in color. France: Feb. 21, 1895.

Handwritten menus with original watercolor illustrations in upper left corners, one of a chateau, the other of a mule-drawn carriage with passengers holding parasols. These were likely kept by the couple who dined (and perhaps stayed over) at the unnamed inn in France before the turn-of-the-century. One tiny spot to one menu, otherwise about fine. Charming.
