First published in 1957, this was dedicated to the Ukrainian Canadian women on the 65th anniversary of the Ukrainian settlement in Canada. It became hugely popular, with nearly 500 pages of recipes for traditional dishes like stewed kidneys with dill pickles and mushrooms, pashtet, chilled fruit soup, Easter syrnyk, etc.
