We are excited to welcome critically acclaimed author Jon Bonné to Copra as part of his book tour for The New French Wine. Jon is one of the leading voices in wine criticism today, having served as wine editor and chief wine critic at the San Francisco Chronicle and as a senior contributing editor at PUNCH. Now managing editor at RESY, he is also the author of bestselling The New California Wine and The New Wine Rules.

The New French Wine offers a one-of-a-kind exploration of the world’s most popular wine region and how it is being transformed by a new generation of producers. For the evening, Jon and the Copra team have curated a five-course tasting menu paired with five wines featured in the book, each representing a different region in France. The pairings will showcase the evolving direction of contemporary French wine while demonstrating how beautifully these wines complement the vibrant flavors of South India.

The evening will begin with a reception and book signing with Omnivore Books on Food, followed by a communal dinner served family style. Please inform us in advance of any dietary restrictions.
