To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the Lao Siam restaurant, located in Belleville since 1985, chose to self-publish a highly successful book that recounts the establishment's history through extensive work with photographic archives.

The text is written by critic Marie Aline, and the layout playfully alternates between photographs and illustrations, testimonials and portraits. The page design is anything but conventional, with paper choices that highlight black and white, or color, reflecting the restaurant's evolution over these 40 years.
