(*NEW ARRIVAL*) (Booklet) Lydia Pinkham. Neighborly Advice
$35.00
/
32 pp. Illus. with drawings. Pictorial wrappers. [Lynn, MA: Lydia E. Pinkham Medicine Co., c.1915].
Lydia Pinkham Co. manufactured medication and vitamins for specific women's issues, like infertility, menopause, baby rash, etc. It's fascinating that each page contains one subject like "Washing" or "Kitchen Drawers," and then advice about how to treat medical issues specific to women, and that advice had to be tucked into a cooking booklet so men wouldn't find it.
Darkening to wrappers, pages brittle, else good.
