Illus. with image of theatre-goers crowding the street, by Kay Stewart. 8.25x5.5". [Southampton]: Oct. 26, 1953.
Number 4 in a series of menus titled "12 well-known Old English Music Hall Songs" - this one titled "Let's All Go Down to the Strand" A lengthy history of the song and its various performances (including by Charles Whittle) printed on verso.
P & O Lines employed numerous Indian cooks, thus most menus include an Indian dish or two; this one offers Singapore curry with rice. Faint spot to verso, else very good.
