(French Colonies) R. de Noter. La Bonne Cuisine aux Colonies: Asie, Afrique, Amerique.
$120.00
/
Preface by Paul Reboux. Illus. with wood engravings. Original gray wrappers lettered in blue. First Edition. Paris: L'Art Culinaire, 1931.
A fascinating book with over 400 recipes from the French colonies in Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean, with illustrations and definitions of tropical fruits, spices, herbs, etc. This would be in fine condition if I hadn't dropped an olive on it. Now it is near fine (and unopened) but for a small pot to front cover.
