A wonderful look back at the history of ice cream and the ice cream industry in America, with stories about the origin of the ice cream cone, the secrets of the great soda jerks, the language of the soda fountain, the birth of the Eskimo Pie, and perhaps most wondrously, the "real story behind the Great Ice Cream Orgy of 1946." Certainly worth the price of the book just to uncover that history! About fine.
