One of the earliest Italian-American cookbooks, and the first to be printed in California. With recipes using pasta, squash, beans, sheep head, peppers, etc. , including a chapter on Italian soup for invalids (!). Extremely scarce with the two chromolithograph plates, which were usually removed and framed, and in hardcover. Very good condition. Glozer 76.
