The plates illustrate cuts of meat, methods of trussing and carving, and the table arrangements for twelve seasonal family dinners. A large and thorough volume on everything necessary for the domestic bliss standards of early 19th century England. An attractive copy with some chipping to spine ends, otherwise very good.
