Astor Hotel. American Spice Trade Association - Southern Louisiana Dinner Menu
$65.00
/
16 pp. incl. recipes. Illus. with antique woodcut vignettes. 11.25x7", gilt-lettered dec. red wrappers. New York: Feb. 27, 1962.
On February 27, 1962, the American Spice Trade Association held their annual dinner at the Astor Hotel in New York City, with a Southern Louisiana themes menu, featuring spices (of course), and included 7 pages of recipes for making the dishes included on the menu. Cajun meat pie, jambalaya de canard, crawfish bisque, chili-pecan roll, etc. Faint stain to upper front cover, else very good. An elegant menu of French-Louisiana favorites.
